ABOUT

"David Tolliver’s lyrics always have depth and his melodies are new and unique in a world where you think everything has already been done. He is a consummate pro; one of the very best songwriters in Nashville."

- Dennis Lord, Former Executive Vice President, SESAC

David Tolliver is embarking on the newest chapter of his 15-year career in the Nashville music scene as a solo artist. Many know him as an established songwriter and are excited to see him perform stories of his own. Especially Tolliver’s fans who know him as a member of the popular country-rock duo, Halfway to Hazard, that for more than a decade released chart-topping music, such as the hit single, “Daisy,” garnered award nominations, and toured with the likes of Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Jason Aldean, and others.

Tolliver’s brand-new EP, Somewhere In Between, is a six-song collection of original music that tells a story of his career transformation. His solo tour dates begin November 2019.

“I go out to give a high energy show, to not hold back. Seeing the crowd’s excitement, feeling their energy, you have to give them what they want. You take them on a journey for the night, and it’s just as exciting to me to see what their journey is.”

Tolliver currently is signed with Three Hounds Music Publishing Company. He has had cuts with Tim McGraw, Jerrod Niemann, Brantley Gilbert, Wynonna Judd, Cade Foehner, Neal McCoy, as well as writing for Halfway to Hazard's three studio albums and numerous others.

"David Tolliver is not just a friend of mine, he is one of the finest singer/songwriters I’ve gotten to know over the course of my career."

- Chris Young, Country Music Superstar

"David's songwriting style is soulful, honest and comes straight from the heart. His vocals are a mix of traditional country with an edge that sounds like no one else. It's his unique mix of lyrical style and melodies that make him one of the best artists and songwriters around."
